These photos will truly last a lifetime. Looking back at the first few days of becoming a mother or father, holding your little one, and getting excited about all of the possibilities of what the future may hold. This is also a period of rest, recuperation, and bonding.
This photoshoot is about archiving these moments to pass down to your children and beyond -- capturing your story, your new little one, and the beginning of life together.

Locations
Most sessions take place in the nursery or bedroom. I am also available to do a hospital shoot in the hours after the baby is born. If you are looking for an outdoor venue, I am happy to suggest locations in Minneapolis and Saint Paul that would work well for this type of shoot. Are you out of the area? I also offer photos in Iowa, Kansas City, and most of the Midwest. Send me a note for custom travel packages.

Photoshoots start at $295, the average shoot is $375.

What to wear? / Pro-tips
Wear something that makes you feel good! This photoshoot should be comfortable! I always recommend cable knits, white linens, or clothing with texture. For newborns, please have two outfits, a swaddle or blanket, a big bow or stuffed animal, and a few backup things just in case!
